Malicious “This is your Remittance Advice” #ABC12345

We are currently seeing a number of “This is your Remittance Advice” emails with a semi-random “reference” number attached to it, such as the following:

These contain what appears to be an Excel spreadsheet with an .xls attachment which attempts to infect your computer with a trojan downloader.

 

Update – 11:05 Extra .dat files have been provided by Mcafee to System Force and are now in place on core email systems. Scans are being conducted to make sure any emails are clean !
