HMRC Automated Telephone Call Saying they have Taken a warrant out for your arrest

A new type of telephone scam is about, and may dupe unsuspecting people.

The call receiver is told that its HMRC calling and to press 1 to be transferred.

 

DONT – Just hang up and block the number.

In this case the number was from 0300 2008506 Which appears to actually be the HMRC number ..
