Malicious Email: “Pending Tax Refunded” From: “HM Revenue & Custom”

We are seeing malicious emails titled: “Pending Tax Refunded” that appear to be from: “HM Revenue & Custom”. These emails contain a malicious link or attachment. If you see any email from HMRC that mentions “refund” or “refunded” in the subject, it is almost certainly malicious, and we recommend that these emails are forwarded to virus.scan@systemforce.co.uk and then deleted.
