Malicious Email: “Urgent payment” (Note: If you receive an email like this it may appear to have come from one of your colleagues!) These emails typically have a subject of: “Urgent Payment” and have a “.PDF” attachment named similar to: “Charlton payment.pdf” or “Higgins payment.pdf” “Vincent payment.pdf”. We are analysing these attachments as we believe these are a combination of phishing / spear-phishing emails and some may link to malicious payloads. If you see an email with “Urgent payment” in the title please DO NOT open the attachment or click any link in the email until you have absolute confirmation that it is genuine.
