Malicious Emails: “Hi” From: Various Addresses

We are seeing a considerable increase in the number of malicious emails titled: “Hi” From: Various Addresses. These emails typically contain little other than an email address or link to reply to, and are primarily being quarantined. If you see an email like this in your quarantine and you do not believe it is urgent, please ignore it. Our systems will rescan the quarantine periodically and if they find an item which has subsequently been found to be malicious it will be removed automatically.
